    just got a vivitar 2800 flash unit just wondering will it work on my fuji s7000 or will it fry the insides?:confused:

    the trigger voltage may be too high, could be anywhere between 4v and 170v according to this site: http://www.botzilla.com/photo/strobeVolts.html

    Most camera manufacturers recommend lower than 6v.

    I got a voltage reduction unit from b&h that brings all flash units down to a safe level (wee device that sits in hotshoe)
