They must outsource. When I was a Sky customer I got through to India a bunch of times.

I think it is in Scotland and another Scottish Call Centre company RHL, does some work for Sky. The person in the call centre can be of any nationallity.

I think Sky use foreign Call Centres to sell it products. The best way to put it is you call Sky you talk to someone in Scotland. They call you and it could come from anywhere on the planet.

Sky have small call centres in India and England, and huge ones in Scotland. The "important" stuff (cancellations, regrades, inbound sales calls, etc) are all done in Scotland and have been since day 1 in 1989.

Will this call centre cater for installers enquiries as well??

I phoned Sky a short while ago. I got through straight away! Spoke to a guy who sounded Indian and I got sorted out. Didn't sound like the usual Sky call centre with all the Scottish voices in the background.

I think i'd prefer the Scottish accent rather than the Cork accent. Could they not have picked a decent county.

Good question. I don't personally have an issue understanding the Scottish accent.
