Bought one of these earlier in Aldi Drogheda. As you might expect, nearly sold out (1 left on the pallet after mine).
Simple to set up. Had it running in 10 minutes. Represents great value for money. Similar versions cost EUR500 in DID/Harvey Norman. Not sure if DVD player is region free. If not, if anyone has the code that would be great.
I thought long and hard before buying this. To the best of my knowledge no mainstream manufacturer (e.g. Sony/Philips/Samsung etc.) makes a combi unit like this, but I reckon they will eventually. However, I was not willing to keep waiting.
I am personally not a BUSH fan, and some of the other manufacturers I have never heard of. Tried to buy one of these a few months ago in Sainsburys Newry (I think the brand was Celo?), but despite having one in the warehouse, it could not be located.
This Aldi one seems the biz. However, this is my first LCD TV, so I'm not sure what to expect.
Now need to mount it on the wall...that's when the fun will begin!

My TV just died this evening so I was think about getting one of these. I'll have to have a look tomorrow and see are there any left, probably not but I might get lucky.

Well I managed to get one anyway. Had none left on the shelves this morning but I asked at the till and they had them in the office. Must be a Limerick thing to keep them hidden, strange as they left out the 19" and 17" monitors. Anyway, works a charm. DVD plays divx/xvid too.

All I need is to bring a VGA extension cable home from work now and I'll check the PC connection and see how it compares to the monitor.
