So microsoft have announced that with Shadowrun you'll be able to play opponents on PCs as well as other 360's. Now Valve have said they'd love to do it too. I've a cautious welcome for this for 2 reasons.

    1) Pc players may have a distinct advantage with the mouse & keyboard
    2) why tf have i to shell out €60 a year to play games online when pcs are can do it for free? its bareable when playing other 360ers cause they had to pay as well but if pc players are getting it for free and are playing on the live network....

Am i wrong in 2) or will the pc players also have to sign up and pay for live to play against 360 players? if not why not and why am i paying 60 yoyos to have the same experience as them?

Have to agree with you on that, mouse and keyboard definity an advantage!! Not so bothered on the second one! I for one think xbox live isn't that expensive for the year and its quite a good reliable system!!

I agree on both ... Mouse and Keyboard will definitely give an advantage to PC players.

Also, if they're using the same Live system to hook up to play against 360 owners would it really be fair if they are getting it for free? Or, are MS going to charge PC owners to use 'Live Anywhere' to play against 360 owners?

PC owners will have to pay for Live Gold to play against Xbox users.

Grand so ... at least I feel less gipped (as all will be gipped equally).
That said, the prices for Live Gold aren't exorbitant anyway

So the PC players have the choice of paying to play against xbox users, or play for free against other PC users..

I can't see many going live..
