Awful trailer. Not quite so looking forward to it now....somehow I knew I'd have been better off not watching that

Ok I'm confused. Is Ving Rhames in this movie a continuation of the Ving Rhames character in the Zack Snyder film or is a completely different dude?

Also Mena Suvari?!?!?!? WTF. The chick can't act.

    awww

I liked the original because it was set after the outbreak and was more focused on survival.

This one seems to be more of a remake of night of the living dead with bits of resident evil and macho army women thrown in.

    pity.

A fan and fear of Zombie movies here, the trailer looked like ****e. More akin to a short attention span action movie with nothing of value.

The original day of the dead was messed up, typical chaos of the survivors eventually screwing up and letting chaos ensue, the whole premise of the Zombie movie is about this. 'Eventually they will get in, we have to move'. No you don't! Just work together and kill the Zombies!

Bring back Romero to show them what it is all about.
Zombie movies are about the breakdown of society and it's willingness to submit to the most mundane of things which will eventually lead to destruction through complacency, the living dead! Supermarket shopping has never been the same since for me.

Why do the 'zombies' make dinosaur noises?

    I wondered that too.

At any rate I wont be making any descisions until I see a newer trailer. The one posted above has been around for ages and I'm not taking it as an excerpt of the final product just yet. Still though, I'm a bit puzzled as to why it seems to focus on the beginning of the outbreak as opposed to the end which is what Day was all about.

Dunno about Army, but George has Diary of the Dead coming out this year. Its a Blair-witch style student filmaker account of the opening days of the Outbreak. Cant Wait!!

C'mon George let's get this Zombie train back on track. Shaun of the dead was the last good tribute to the real Zombie film.

There was actually an amateur short film on youtube called Diary of the Dead. It was an extremely lowbudget zombie film, yet enjoyable enough. For some odd reason, its not there anymore.
