Recently moved to the town and would like opinions on the best pubs to go to in Drogheda.

Nothing too wild and crazy mind! More of a quiet ish place to drink a few glasses of wine.

    Thanks

    The D Hotel?

It depends on when you plan on going out, if it's Saturday night then most places the town itself get a bit 'hectic' (for want of a better word :) ). It also depends on what kind of a scene you like; Redz might be ok, or maybe, if you prefer a more 'low key' night - Clarkes, it can sometimes get quite busy there on Saturday night though.

There is/was a new place opposite Redz 'Bacchus' I think it's called, its a nice intimate wine bar style place. Don't know if it's still there, a significant percentage of the Drogheda drinking population wouldn't be overly, well.... sophisticated :D

Others might have better ideas though, I've pretty much exited the Drogheda pub scene.

No D'vine is the wine bar beside the Abbey Centre in the side street. Bacchus is the renovated bar in the Westcourt Hotel.

Sorry, my mistake, I did mean D'vine.

I thought the bar in the Westcourt was called Barocco or something?
