PS2/USB issues.

Im trying to use a Labtec PS/2 keyboard via a USB converter. Not having any luck getting the thing to work though.
There does seem to be power (lights flashing etc) but no responsiveness and occasionally an error message saying that there is an unidentified USB device. I have installed uninstalled and reinstalled various drivers supplied by labtec to no avail.
Any ideas out there? or just give up?

Those converter yokeys are known to cause problems at times. What version of Windows have you got?
