Where to go in Limerick on a nite out?

Looking for some suggestions. I lived in the city centre way back when, about 8 years ago, and haven’t really socialised there all that much since. We’re planning a girls night out in the city, the only thing is all of us are out of touch on where to go and what’s happening.
Any suggestions, recommendations, on where some 30somethings –very early 30somethings, should go on a night out. Suggestions on pubs and clubs would be great.
Way back when we used to go to a whole host of places; Nancy’s, the Shibin, The old Quarter, Clohessy’s, so pretty much open to suggestions on anything.

    Thanks.

there's a good enough night life.

nancys, the old quarter molly malones and symths are all just beside each other. no need forr taxis if u pick these few. the icon is the nightclub at the rear of the sin bin

cloghessys is a good enough spot on a sat night but quite on a fri. beaware if MUNSTER are playing the place will be jammmmmers but good.
clem smiths is out the dock road but worth a visit. good for a late one. flannerys on shannon st is ok and try the whie house

Don't go near teds. it closed down for about 3 years for not paying its taxes. when it opened it hadn't changed one bit

    hope thats a help

Icon is nowhere near Sin Bin...it's probably one of the furthest establishments from Sin Bin....Clohessy's is above Sin Bin...mixed crowd

Trinity Young crowd 18-24 all week....Icon Tuesday and Thurs students...other nights over 21s mainly over 25s though...a

I'm in the former age group so I'm probably not the best to respond, but you're probably best to avoid Trinity as you'll feel like you're in a creche (there are places wher me and my friends feel like this too though:rolleyes: )
