Okay, anyone have one of these? Don't think there's too many around Ireland, so probably not.

I'm thinking about getting one and wondering if anyone has any experience with them.
I will probably have to purchase in England as I can't find any around here, well not any reasonably priced ones anyway. Does anyone have experience buying from England.
Would probably fly over and drive back, but anyone know what shipping would be like... just out of interest.

    any other advise etc appreciated.
    j

Dont have one buth I would love a night rod special. Check them out in Waterford Harley Davidson, they have a good range, there are two custom built ones there also.

ya, had a look at that site. I think I prefer the look of the original v-rod rather than the street-rod or the night rod.
I also have a Max of 15k budget. I can get a 05 V-Rod in England for about 11k. Seems to cost around 20k here. Big savings to be had on bikes across the water.

Not sure which one is which but get the model with the controls further back, the position is very uncomfortable on the original ones.

Ya, the more I Read about it the more I am thinking I will get the newer version. i.e. the street rod or the night rod. They basically fixed all the problems with the original... one been comfort. I would plan to do some long distance driving if I get it, so that is important.
Anyone know what sort of insurance bracked the v/street/night rod falls under?
