Marcelo Garcia to compete in MMA

    For any grappling enthusiasts, I read on sherdog that Marcelo Garcia will be fighting on the GFC card in May. Whether his sub skills will be as effective in an MMA fight is yet to be determined, but I think this is really great:D

    Im really looking forward to this and hope its as successfull as Roger Gracie's and Jacare's first(or second) Fights

    Any guy who can tap Vitor Ribeiro as quick as he did or hang with Jacare and PDP for as long as he did, given his size disadvantage, has a good shot at mma. Hopefully he has ok standup skills.

    I wasnt aware that jacare did an mma fight. What event was it?

    Also, great news about Garcia. I hope he's as good and as exciting in the ring as he is on the mats. :D
