    From elevenaside.ie

Barry Ryan (St Patrick’s Athletic) - Ryan was named Goalkeeper of the Year a few years ago when with UCD and forms a solid last line of defence for John McDonnell’s table-toppers. Conceded back-to-back clean sheets in the Saints’ last two League outings.

Colm Tresson (Bray Wanderers) - The evergreen Tresson scored the breakthrough goal as Bray overcame Waterford United at the RSC. A class act and model professional, after more than a decade at the top of League of Ireland football.

John Frost (St Patrick’s Athletic) - At home either at left back or on the left flank of a midfield five, Frost contributed handsomely to the Saints’ win in Derry.

Dan Murray (Cork City) - Murray has shouldered even more responsibility this season following the departure of Alan Bennett to Reading. On the evidence of the Leesiders’ win at UCD, he is more than capable of fulfilling the task.

    Stephen Paisley (St Patrick’s Athletic)
    - The former Irish under-21 star made an impressive Saints debut in Derry after a protracted tug-o’-war for his services in the close-season.

Joe Gamble (Cork City) - The dominant force in Cork’s win over the Students. Never shirked a challenge and always available in midfield. Approaching the form which saw him picked for the Republic of Ireland ‘B’ side in November.

Shaun Williams (Dundalk) - Williams has enjoyed an exceptional start to the season with Dundalk having joined the Lilywhites on a season-long loan from Drogheda United. A third goal in three games from midfield for John Gill’s pace-setters, and all of them have bordered on the spectacular.

Anto Murphy (St Patrick’s Athletic) - Murphy has been reborn in a wide role for the Saints this season, benefiting greatly from the class of player inside him in Ndo, Kirby and Fahey. Followed his double against Waterford United with the only goal in Derry.

Patrick McCourt (Derry City) - The Candystripes’ ace is up there with the best players in the League on the evidence of the first few games of the season. Has really added consistency to his class.

    Mark Quigley (St Patrick’s Athletic)
    - A constant thorn in Derry’s side on Friday night, Quigley is delivering on the promise that saw him play in the Coca-Cola Championship for Millwall as a teenager.

Roy O’Donovan (Cork City) - Has scored six goals in his last three games for Cork. Setanta Sports Cup appearances (he scored a hat-trick against Portadown on Monday night) do not technically count for the purposes of the eleven-a-side.com Team of the Week, but he was also the match-winner for Cork with a fine finish against UCD. With McCourt, the brightest star in the eircom League canon.

I wont be happy until our starting 11 is there in full, no Maguire or Ndo

Make that 4 in 4 from the young maestro. Those dirty Drogs better not call him back.
