VIA 8237 SATA issues

I'm in work at the moment, trying to install two Seagate 300GB SATA drives on a VIA 8237-based motherboard, drive model is ST3300622AS. The drives aren't being detected so I'm guessing its a SATA/150 vs SATA/300 issue (the drives aren't faulty). Is there a utility, like UATA100.EXE, to force the drives to operate in SATA/150 mode? There doesn't seem to be a jumper setting to do it.

Actually it's ok. There's a 4-pin connection on the disk but I didn't want to chance putting a jumper on it in case it wasn't meant to. But it turns out that one is a SATA/150 jumper (the one furthest away from the power cable).

Problem sorted, I'll keep this up in case someone else has the same problem.
