Resident Evil: Extinction

Survivors of the Raccoon City catastrophe travel across the Nevada desert, hoping to make it to Alaska. Alice (Jovovich) joins the caravan and their fight against the evil Umbrella Corp

    IMDB
    Trailer

Just saw a trailer for this yesterday and I have to admit it looks like it could be enjoyable enough. I've always enjoyed the Resident Evil films for the mindless OTT zombie flicks that they are.

Can't wait to see how they work with the Project Alice scenario.

I actually enjoyed the last Resident Evil film despite the nagging feeling that I really shouldn't have.

I always thought the films were okay so looking forward to seeing it.

I actually like these films. They're great to just watch and not think about what you're seeing.
Also Jovovich isnt too bad to look at for extended periods of time.

I enjoyed it too up until
Nemesis turns goody goody and spares alice.

Bold, monster! Bold! You're supposed to be a killing machine!

    Ruined the film entirely IMO.

But it was still better than AvP with its stupid stupid tagline

The last one was pretty corny but equally entertaining. Lots of shooting, zombies and general mayhem. Won't win any oscars but it will win my approval!

I've enjoyed both of the films so far, and have high hopes for number 3. It looks like perfect Friday night fodder.

Yeah... Ali Larter from Heroes is Claire Redfield... but from the photos I've seen she seems to look more like Sarah Connor.

nice to see they haven't put Milla in a slinky dress again she's a great action heroine (except for Ultraviolet bleh!) looking forward to this - enjoyed the last two. Not expecting an Oscar winning epic just a Sat nite surround sound on popcorn movie!

I saw it the other night but really wished I didnt. dreadful acting, zero plot and the worst action scene's/stunts Iv ever seen in a action flick. Avoide this peice of **** like the plague.

For the record i like the first and thought the second movie was ok in a leave your brain at the door type of way.

I saw it too, and it is the biggest load of rubbish I've seen in quite some time.

I'm usually open minded, I really liked the first movie and kinda enjoyed the second even though it wasn't the greatest, but this was just tripe. Don't even know where to begin.
They're really being inconsistent with the zombies, they run in this one and climb scaffolding
The acting is also laughable at times.

I really, really hope that's the end of them.

    0/5

Ye i endende dup watching the 3rd movie on thursday it was actually decent enough but like the 2nd one i found the movie is more directed at "aha! now you have to wait for the sequel!"

I thought it was decent enough. Better than I expected it to be. I hated the 2nd one too.

If you like Zombie flicks I think you'll enjoy it.

    I saw it Saturday morning & I'd give it a solid 3/5.

Just leave your brain at the door.

Bah, the first one was rubbish and the second was only enjoyable because they actually tried to implement some plots from the games.

I feel this one is going to further destroy the series....

...but it'll make a great 'leave your brain at the door' movie.
