What would you most like to see in the last episode? besides the answear to the major question ie. what is the island? perhaps them going home and being on letterman and larry king

It was a crazy Japanese reality tv show where if they were voted off theyd die by numerous zany ways such as by black cloud of smoke and such. But the budget fell through and the show cancelled so theyre picked up and brought home.

Does anybody else see a "Return to the Real World" string of episodes/mini-season? It would be rather strange having the series end with a boat/chopper airlifting them back to the US...

If the show ends with them being rescued/returning to civilisation then I like the idea of this. Or at least a few episodes to act as a kind of epilogue. I just don't want them to squash everything into the last episode like, for example, DS9 did. But on the other hand, the story started on the island, it's a full blown character almost, and so perhaps it should end there too.

However, I've always kinda pictured that many of the survivors might choose to stay on the island and make it their home in the end. It doesn't seem like they have anything to go back to, except maybe Desmond.

Pfft. It's not as though everyone back home has screwed them over. Granted Locke, Rose and Kate probably don't want to go home, but I see no other reason why the others would avoid heading home just because of a few people who screwed them over,...

I don't think Sawyer has much to go back to either and in Exposé it looks like he's starting to accept he may never leave the island. I'm not sure Charlie is too bothered either, especially since he found Claire. Of course he may not live till the end

But then there's also Michael and Juliet who both killed to try and get away from the place.

I don't know but it doesn't seem like such a bad place to me. Granted there's the kidnappings, high mortality rate, lack of broadband, monster/dinosaur lurking in the jungle; but then there's the great weather, hot chicks, no job and plenty of leisure time. Dammit, I want to crash land on the island

Not sure how i'd like it to end - but it has to end properly for me. I want there to be closure (and maybe some nudity!)
Is there a definate answer on how many more series are planned?

And then it would be really cool if Locke's Dad was on the island, or if someone got accidentally buried alive (but I dont no how they'd do that), I hope Mr. Ecko gets in a big fight with someone (like in RockY), eventually Charlie will have to give up the Drugs,

Its kinda being a bit tedious at the momentm, and its literally impossible to predict. The Island will probably blow up tho....and alot more people will die.

I say the last episode will have them in the real world but have flashbacks to how they got rescued, a reversal of the normal format.

I really like this idea.

I've always particularly enjoyed the on island flashbacks, especially the 3 from last season. Although I think it would also be cool if in the final few climatic episodes there was no flashbacks at all, just present events on the island.

I do think it kinda makes sense to have the last 4-5 eps purely on the Island with no off-island flashbacks. They will have a crap load to fit in and they won't have the time to be bringing us back to the real world for more flashbacks.
