Not a lot to say to be honest. Its just a solid guitar, nothing amazing about it, and nothing particularly wrong with it. If you like it, and thats the kind of axe youre looking for, i dont see any reason why not to.

I wouldnt pay more than about $700 from a US seller. If you can find one for sale here, i'd pay a little more, but not a lot. Maybe E650-E700, depending on how much you want it.

You'll certainly pick one up cheaper than either of those max prices i quoted, if youre patient

i was quoted 700 for it. what guitar would you suggest?

If the PGM900 is what you want, i cant think of any reason not to.

You'd need to provide an awful lot more info if youre looking for people to suggest an alternative.

well as i said i play blues...my knowledge on guitars isn't great. i have a les paul standard epiphone. I suppose i played a fender strat in music maker and that was nice. Just basically i want a versatile guitar.

Well, if youre not too pushed, i probably wouldnt recommend the PGM900.

Its a signature model, and (very) slightly rare, so some of the cost will be due to that. Its the kind of guitar that you buy because you actually want that particular model.

But if you couldnt care less and just want any decent guitar, then honestly, for the money you'll buy a better used guitar.

well im willing to pay for a great instrument...but im not rich!!
Im playing blues...lead. Still working my way up to my first gig(more confidence than anything!!). What is a good guitar for lead blues...i think the fender strat models are popular for what i, looking for but i dont want to rush into anything.

What blues players do you like, whose tone do you like? Look at what your influences played and take it from there. The strat is a great guitar for blues, but you may like a different sound. If you're into SRV, Rory Gallagher, Hendrix, post-Cream Clapton, etc, then a strat may be the right guitar for you. There have been a few second hand American series knocking about the adverts forum here for about €700.

If you can get into town go in and try a few different guitars, see what feels good to you. Strats are fantastic, they're a genius design and you can't really go wrong with one, but you may find something else that tickles your fancy more.
