Apparently Far Cry has an awesome control scheme but looks like an absolute dog of a game. Red Steel is nice, looks well and plays well but is a bit twitchy when it comes to moving around (and i hate the sword battles  ) Almost zero replay value, i gave it back to GAME. I haven't played MoH or Call of Duty yet so i can't comment on them.

Far Cry is actually good in terms of being a FPS. You can dual weild weapons which is good but the scenery and graphics are fairly crap. I gave up on CoD3 a while back because of the controls but after playing Red Steel and Far Cry I gave it another go and suddenly I realise I am used to the controls now and it is actually a very good game.

I got bored of red steel. COD3 I loved then I stopped playing. Theres also far cry, then medal of honour and blazing angels came out today so you could try them. The godfathers out to if thats a first person shooter

Godfather is a third person as far as I'm aware, but close enough! :)

However Blazing Angels is actually a flight game, not unlike Heatseeker.

I know it isn't First Person but The Godfather Blackhand Edition got a good review here http://wii.ign.com/articles/773/773509p2.html

I've heard it's good, though reviews seemed a bit mixed. Though I think it did better than Blazing Angels and Wing Island across the board in the review stakes.

Are you far into it Rhyme?

About an hour or so into it and if you ignore the graphics on the land-based things (easy to do when you break the sound barrier and the screen goes crazy with you grinning like a loon... like me) it's a great game. I loved Ace Combat so this was always going to be enjoyable but it's beaten my expectations, i'd give it a high 8/10, definitely a solid title.

Some fantastic moments too... perhaps memorable.

I thought Call of Duty 3 was brilliant, at the start it was preety boring anf the controls felt terrible but after the 1st level it improves so much
graphics seem to get better, you get used to the controls and find out there brilliant and easily become hooked to this game

yeah, call of duty 3 was pretty good.. no replay value at all though.. and I hated the last/second last level... half an hour or more of shooting germans running down a hill and still no end for the level.. returned it to gamestop that night
