OK just want to clarify if my PS3 is ok, I can turn on the console using the touch pad on the front of the console, but I cannot turn it off using it, I have to turn it off using the controller, is this supposed to be like this?

    Thanks

    Snake ;)

Keep your finger on the feather touch power button for 2 secs (I think)..
When beeps once, take finger off.....should power off normally..

To be honest I have only turned mine off twice since I got it, when I don't use it I have folding@home running on it

i read somewhere (and it works for me) that you have to hold your finger on it for 5-10 seconds
