Ok i have been through this

It is creating a .tmp everytime you copy a dvd, in my case it was everytime i closed down the application incorrectly.

Go to Control panel -> folder options -> unhide all hidden folders

now check your c drive, or use find option. Search for .tmp extensions.

Then sort by size, anything over 1gb you can delete manually. In my case i freed up over 100gb of memory doing this.

Maybe someone else can give you an exact guide.

Open the burn software and look for the location where the files are being stored on the hard drive ( My docu).

Not sure quiet what you mean?? I presume its that you thought you had a lot more free space than you actually have so you presume large movie files have been saved on your hard-drive??
I use nerovision to edit stuff on dvd from my tv, when you choose the import disc option the program converts the files on the DVD to MPG files on your hard-drive. By default this will be in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\NeroVision\ImportedVideo unless you have changed it.
