Which is the best online poker site in your opinion? or worst? I'm fairly new to the on line poker game ,I joined boyle sports for betting (they had best odds on world snooker qualifing) and now I'm using their poker site. SO far I'm having fun ,there are plently of small low fee hold em tournaments ,good for beginer ,mind you, dont mention the cash games (arrgg pain). Anyway ,I was wondering am I getting a good deal or maby missing out on better poker sites?

    The biggest sites are:

PokerStars - No rakeback available. Most players online.
PartyPoker - Don't know if there is rakeback, may be if you look hard enough. Far less palyers than there used to be.
Full Tilt - 27% rakeback widely available. Increasing traffic.
iPoker - conglomerate of sites such as Paddy Power, Green Joker, VC, BlueSq. Variety of ongoing bonuses etc. New software to most of the skins we would be used to.
UltimateBet - 35% rakeback widely available, decent traffic.
Microgaming (formerly Prima I believe) - conglomerate of sites once again. Boylesports and AllinPoker are on this. No idea of any deals for joining. No idea of traffic lately.
    There are many more also.

Everyone has a personal preference for a particular site based on things such as software, traffic, player standard, game selection and so on, so one persons favourite might not be anothers.

I started off on boyles, you only realise how bad it is (for sngs) after you play on other sites. However it is easy to withdraw from.

I know 888 got a roasting on this site around time of student open but I actually think they're ok. Games are pretty soft and I believe they're updating the software soon.

I play pokerstars pretty much all the time now.

Thens of thousands of users (read fish) online at any given time, great tourney structures - unlike the crap shoots they used to have on Tribeca - and the cash games are soft.

micro (boyles etc) are crap for stt's alright. nice soft 0.25/0.50 cash games, havnt played any higher on it.

has a good tourny schedule for players starting off, with restricted bankrolls etc.

plenty of 10, 20, 25 euro freezouts which can be handy in building up your br.

Played a lot of stars up until the PPP move to iPoker (Hated the cartoon style of tribeca). Now I find that the PPP MTT's are enjoyable. Getting ITM helps :) Mini view is weird to start off with but now that i have got used it I cannot go back to full view...ever....

Stars is pretty good though but PPP (iPoker) has me for now. Some of the MTT's are good value. Everest has some good value MTT's too.

All we need is some Genius to create a hand converter for iPoker.

ITM stands for in the money, it is the amount of time you finish in a place where you get money for it in sng's or tournements
