I get gas from fire-support.co.uk or BFSL.

Gas cannot be shipped by air so I do not recommend ordering from outside the UK.

HFC 134a gas will work with all GBBs, its is less powerful than HFC 22 gas.

HFC 22 gas should only be used in GBBs that have metal barrels and slides so they can handle the higher pressure without leaking or being damaged.

HFC 22 is also known as Green gas.

Some guns can take Red gas which is more powerful again, I would never use this myself.

there is also the option of using propane. apparently green gas is basically
propane minus the smell with added silicone. I havent tried using propane yet, but i picked up an adapter from airsoft innovations

propane cans can be found in b&q apparently, not sure where else tho...

Already done I think. I was speaking with Derek and he mentioned it was a bigger bottle for 10 euro instead of 15. Good deal.

    i get gas from lager....

    :p

    sorry, couldn't resist...

captain chaos has the two principle types covered there, the third is the red gas which he glanced over.

red gas is a higher pressure gas than green, the main reason for it is that if your pistol requires green gas, then you'll probably find that you need to use red gas if you are skirmishing outdoors in colder weather (boyles law and all that) --> red gas is higher pressure at say 20C but the same at say (pure guess) 8-12C.

red gas is also known as winter gas.
