    Hello,

Is it possible to query your pc to get information of dates and times an application launched on your pc. I have a problem with a poker site saying i played 2 games i didnt and charging me an although my hard drive has no copies of the hand history file but it has a copy of every other game played.

When the game starts it auto spans a window and begins. I was playing 3 other games at the time and managed to play every hand for them games yet not 1 hand on these 2 games in question so is it possible to get some sort of logs of the applications logged on that date:

I have windows 2000 pro btw

    Cheers

If you had application auditing in place through a security policy it is possible, but otherwise unless the app itself writes to its own logs or windows logs its very hard to tell unless you have a firewall that logs all apps that made a connection on that day

I have Zonealarm firewall, would this have its own log??

Depends on how you set it up.. also it may not count as it will only show connections and they are sharing the same process this may not reflect the actual scenario

If you go into Control Panel->Administrative Tools-> Event Viewer
this will show some os and services stuff. It will not usually show applications, but it will at least let you know if your machine was on. It does show errors and application hangs, so if the app ballsed up and caused a false game to be played there is a slim chance it may show up here.
