Getting a new monitor. Have a fair idea. Just wondering what size widescreen would offer the roughly same size screen height as a 19" regular monitor.

    24 or 22 i think as a 20 is same hight as 17.

in that Case what would you think of this, http://www1.hardwareversand.de/6VuWiot6pcMlt9/2/articlelist.jsp?agid=603,

    LG Flatron L226WT-SF, 22", 3000:1, Widescreen, schwarz

Would you recommend this or one of the slightly more expensive ones. 24" is 2" too far for my pocket.

Looks fairly reasonable as a display LG make their own LCD panels so they tend to be generally decent anyway like Samsung.

I'd go for it given the price as 24" is a very expensive part.
