    looking for advice on the best sports mp3 player ie solid state from 1 to 4 gb thats simple to use and is strong!!

    I'd go for one of the new Sandisk sansa players. Solid state and with an expandability port (if you end up finding that the in-built storage isn't enough you can upgrade with an SD card), and cheaper than i-pod nano with a bigger screen!! :)

    The Zen Nano Plus is a good flash based player.
