DVi vs. VGA - big difference?

I am wondering what the advantages of a Monitor with DVI Input vs. one with only VGA would be? are there big differences?

I am currently considering 2 Monitors. One has DVI connection and a responsetime of 8ms, and the other one has only VGA connection, but a responsetime of 5ms. Price difference between the two is 5 Euro.

Not big into high end applications or games. my graphics card has DVI connection and VGA connection.

    Whay would you take?

The difference in general is that DVI offers a sharper/clearer picture.

In practice this varies as some displays use high quality components in the VGA inputs which can be just as good but usually DVI is the way to go.

The response time does not really factor into VGA or DVI, go with DVI.
