Student overdraft

Hey there, I applied for a student overdraft today of €600, and I was asked to fill out a form citing my personal details. When I gave it to the lady she just said "I'll ring you if I hear anything" which left me confused! Should I expect a phone call or not?

they are probably just running a credit check on you and based on that will either approve/disaprove the overdraft.

so long as you aren't drowning in debt then they should give you the loan. then again banks may be getting more cautious (rightfully so) with regards to riskier lending due to interest rate hikes.

that said, according to BoI, 3rd level students continue to be the best performing customer group when it comes to managing their money and borrowings.
