    Hi, traveling to London (LHR) tomorrow (Mar 27) and online check in let me select BA as my frequent flyer preference. Is that valid as I thought they had now left one world?

    They are not pulling out until the end of March (see here)

    They are also working on individual agreements with QF, AA, BA, etc.

    Begobs, I've an Aer Lingus Flight booked through BA for August. (Leg one of a transatlantic) strange.

    Not strange. Being outside of the oneworld alliance doesn't stop them co-operating with airlines. Aer Lingus and BA codeshared flights before oneworld to feed into BA's Heathrow flights.
