Sunrise pics for c&c

Great to see so many excellent pictures being taken over the weekend thanks to the nice weather - can't wait to see what is posted over the next few days. Here's a few of mine taken somewhere near Galway at stupid O' Clock this morning. I'm not sure where it was exactly. The details are... blurry. The landscape wasn't exactly inspiring but the colours were incredible.

It's was a beautiful dawn for sure, I was up and out first thing. I love #3 by far.

Thanks! The sunset was just as amazing, maybe I needn't have bothered getting up at 5am after all! Plus being on the west coast it might have made things a bit easier. Still, it was a fun morning - getting up at that time to take photos make me feel just a little bit hardcore.

I love the stillness of the water in no. 1. And of course, like everyone else, I like no. 3. I love getting up before the sun to take pics, there is something exhilirating and slightly scary about it

Definately worth getting up so early to see a beautiful sunrise.
