I had this problem before and someone here kindly helped me solve it but I have the same problem again and cannot work it out!

There are two folders in My Documents which when I try to access them it says "E:\Foldername is not accessible - Access is Denied".

I remeber this being a Permissions problem, but I cannot remeber exactly how to fix it. I restarted in safe mode and logged in using "Administrator". I right clicked on the file, chose security, and took permission. I was then able to view the content of the folders ok. However I then had to shange it over to my own profile name. I did that. Now when I go into the folders I can see/access all the files inside but none of them work! Photos won't view and word docs say I do not hvae suffecient user privilages.

Any idea who to fix this?
    Thanks

    Right-Click on folder.

    > Security.
    >> Advanced.
    >>> Owner :: Make yourself the owner and check the checkbox at the bottom "Replace owner on all subcontainer..."
    >>> Permissions :: remove everyone from the permissions list.
    Then add yourself <Apply>
Check the "Inherit from parent..." check box <Apply>

Should be able to view the contents. I've had problems with folder permissions on my external.
