How the **** did this happen then?
To confirm suspicions after claiming his next album would be a more commercial effort, Murs announced to a crowd of 7000 of his fans that he had signed to Warner Bros. for his next album. After his headlining set with Slug, Murs delivered a heartfelt speech to the crowd and let them know he was taking the major label route as he "is tired of hearing so much bull**** on the radio."

He promised he would still make music the music, major or independent, for his true fans. The album, which is looking like it will be called Murs For President, is in the beginning stages...

Not as much of a gulf between the indies and majors these days. Hope he does well though. murs is dope.

Yeah, exactly. If he does well we should get to hear more of his stuff. The more indies that break through means one less crap song being shown on MTV. He has a pretty big back catalogue at this stage, he deserves the chance to become more popular.

I'm delighted because I'm sure his next album is going to be his strongest yet, but do people really think were going to see Murs on MTV Base some time soon?

His album will flop commercially and he'll be right back with 9th and co after he gets dropped.

If Warner treat him properly then yeah he has a chance.

Just heard HUSTTLE for the first time, I can't believe that is John Cena at the end, it's a sick verse.
