Looking at buying a second hand 997.

    Should I go for C2S or C4S.

I won't be tracking the car.

Am I right in saying that C2S suits the track and C4S suits the road better?

    Transmission will be Tiptronic.

Is more a choice of 2wd vs 4wd isn't?

I had a look at one in Bolands of wexford less than 100k euro, only 10,000 on the clock. still a bit out of my league price wise
I will probably go for the 996 as they are now cheaper than the 993s they replaced!

been around Weissach in a C4S Tip Cabrio........I can assure you the C4 & Tip is the combo to have, and the limits of both are way above mere mortals like us..........

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Go for the C4, the only downside is the smaller boot space :)
