The fourth season. Although it started reasonably promising with the kidnap and whatever, it descended into tv muck.

    - Marwan was a poor baddy who just seemed a bit fed up with what he was doing with the way he talked.
    - The whole Audrey/Jack/Paul triangle was as boring as hell.
    - The new characters they tried to introduce at the start of the series gradually faded away having to make way for the regulars. Some of whom (eg Palmer) came back because of the incompetence of the new characters (Logan, who has since, in fairness, redeemed himself to be a great character).
    - There was no Kim. None.
    - The last half-hour was the only great highlight for the whole series.
    - They had some electromagnetic horse****e as one of the weapons which didn't really look that dangerous.
    - The very ending had no real shock, just Jack walking off into the horizon on a train track.
    - One of the terrorist bases was a bloody niteclub. And one of the terrorist warnings came from a back room in that niteclub. Classy.

There's 8 decent reasons as to why s4 was truly awful.

    Agreed.

    Reason no 9
    - The terrorist real aim is to blow up the power plants, no wait it's to kill the president, no wait it's to get the nuclear football, no wait it's to launch a nuclear warhead.

Good scene halfway through though. "Who are you calling?" -Helpless woman "The only man I can trust" - Jack. Cue Tony Almeda's cracking return to save the day.
