Just to let you all know that this Tuesday 27th March is the grand prize draw for the Mini Cooper which has been on the roof of the casino for the last few months.

Eddie Jordan will be making the draw and there will be spot prizes throughout the night.

The card room will be open from 8pm so it’s a good chance for you all to make up some hours in the Cash Game League which is looking like it will be well over €30,000 come the end of April.

Please note that there will be no tournament on the 27th but we do intend on having one final satellite for the Irish Open on Tuesday 3rd April.
I will post more info on the satellite next week.

    John.

Here is a thought to make it entertaining, picking out a few names, say 5-9, randomly, and then contacting these people telling them the cooper willl be won by one of them, this way they all turn up (insist they do) and then people can see the person who wins when its drawn.... ....acutally, make it an STT, allin or fold, eddie can deal.

I don't think this would reduce the number of people turning up for the night, only increase it.

A lof of players in the draw probably wont have a clue how to play poker. Players coming in to play roulette and blackjack are also eligible for the draw

they gave you a card you had to get stamped when you went in. 6 stamps=1 entry i think.

Apparantly 3 names were called out for the final bit of the draw, and one got the car, one 3k and one nothing (I think). Ther person who was pulled out first was also pulled out second. Mad.
