    Sorry to off topic, but still regarding Ryanair,

    Now that we have to pay for checked in bags with ryan air does the 15/20kg limit still apply per customer. On Ryanair checkin your allowed to check in 5 bags.

    So can I bring 3 bags weighing 15kg each and check them in seeing that I've already paid for them online???

    I've searched their website but I can't find an answer:confused:

    <wondering/>

    Split into a seperate entity.

    If you've paid for 3 bags, you should be able to being 3 bags to the aiport with you and have them checked-in.

    I believe the limit is currently 15kg, so once they are no more than that you should be fine.

    The limit is 15kg per passenger. It doesnt matter if you have one or 5 bags, but the total weight between them cannot exceed 15kg

    Can I just add another question in here? And no, thats not the question!

    Anyway, I've paid for some flights to Brussels, and have included the online check-in option malarky with it. But how does that work and what do I do? I know I can check the bag in at home obviously, but what do I do when I go up to the airport? Still go to counter to give them the bag or what?

    Online checkin can't be used for those bringing in bags to go in the hold:

    From Ryanair's website
    Please note that the online check-in cannot be used by the following passengers: Passengers travelling with checked baggage or on the same reservation as a passenger travelling with checked baggage

    So if I check in my bags here, they cant actually go in the hold? And same as my friend if I only use it between the two of us? So I take it I just go up to the check-in desk before the flight as usual then?

    How do you check bags in at home? Ryanair come and pick them up? Sorry, I'm just being a bit sarcy. Anyone with bags to check in must go to the check-in desk at the airport to hand their bags over. The online check-in charge is only levied on those that aren't carrying any bags afaik.

    Ah I can always appreciate sarcasm!

    Nah, but i chose the option of 1 bag, where the question "How many bags do you want to check-in?" came up. It said online check-in, and something like doind something 2 days to 4 hours before the flight departs. I knew I'd have to give them the bag at the desk...eugh, its all so confusing, feck 'em, not paying it for return flight anyway

    It asks how many bags you want to check in, so they can charge you for them! It doesn't mean you can check the bags in online.

    The baggage allowance is 15kg per passenger. It doesn't matter if you check in one or 5 bags, if the total weight exceeds 15kg, you'll be hit with excess baggage charges.
