Saw that in the flyer in the paper today too. Makes me re-consider importing them from USA.

Hopefully bring down the price of 360 & Wii games too. €60 for a wii game and €75 for 360 is a joke....

Never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never (you getting this yet?) never... buy anything in Game, they're complete rip-off merchants.

Complete. Even for X360 games, when Rainbow Six Vegas came out, it was 59.99 in HMV and 74.99 in Game.. 15 euro difference!?!?! The kind of markup Bertie would be proud of, but not me..

I shun it completely.. Which is a shame, cos I remember when it used to be the most reputable game store in Dublin. Ah the memories..

GAME do a deal of the week though, and it can be good. I saw Dead Rising, Rainbow 6 Vegas and Splinter Cell DA for €44.99 each. It's worth a browse every so often, but you generally leave the shop shaking your head thinking how much better/cheaper getting stuff online is.

Game in Liffey Valley are selling PS3 games for €59.99 whereas Dixons are selling them for €74.99.

That was in the good old days that it was Electronic Boutique. Many a fond memory of walking out of EB with a fresh new title in hand..... WWF Attitude, Metal Gear....ahhhhhh:rolleyes:

They used to have a system in EB where if you traded in ANY 4 games you could get a any brand new one as long as the games weren't scratched. I quickly copped on that you could go down to Smiths and that second hand store on Talbot Street and pick up 4 bottom of the barrel 2nd hand games for about 25 quid. Bring them up to EB and get my nice new game worth 44.95. The good old days.
