    Hi all....
Total 101% virgin laptop user here, so please be patient.
Took advantage of the Lidl offer on their 'Targa Traveller'
My question is do I need a Wireless PC Card to take
advantage of wi-fi. The reason I ask is because the Laptop
    has built in Wireless Lan.
I am confused at this point, need a card ? no don't need a card ?

Thanks in advance for anyone with patience out there.....

    H.

If the laptop has built in wireless then you don't need an extra card.

You will however need a wireless access point to connect to:
    • Anywhere (café, university, internet cafe, etc) you see the the below logo you should be able to connect.

    • If you have broadband in your house you can buy a wifi access point to connect to your broadband modem (or a all-in-one wifi access point and broadband modem)

Many hanks for quick response, answers a lot.
If I can be cheeky and ask another Q. you said to get a 'wifi access point' where do you get this.

    Thanks a million...

Yes the modem/access point you mentioned in your PM is all you need. It should be just a question of plugging it it. Depending on where you live you might want to consider securing it
