Chapman Stick Players

I have just bought two Chapman Sticks and am looking for anyone else in ireland who has one and knows how to play it.

hey man very nice, i love tho's things! were ya get em? i'd love to own one. any way it kinda like playing two handed tapping i've never tried one but i imagine its fairly similar to two haned tappin on the bass, like stu hamm or victor wooten, type in chapman stick into goggle video and there's some demo's. where abouts do you live?

i travel between dublin and belfast. i will be permenantly in sutton soon. I was really looking for another stick player. i play in Urban Spiral (covers band). hope to gig the stick by xmas

well yeah i know i've never even seen a stick in real life, but i can play the bass fairly well and i think that some of it should translate. but no worries anyway, just thought i'd try help out, but if ya would like to just let me know. best of luck either way

just refreshing this thread in the hope somebody else out there has one too.
