Every so often my mac starts making that alert noise as if I'm trying to do something not allowed when I'm not doing anything. I close everything down and it's still going. You know the noise that's made when you're alerted about doing something wrong... or if there's a pop up or something. It's that dull noise. Hope I'm being reasonably clear, I don't really know how to explain it properly.

Any insight would be appreciated!
