I bought a couple of PSP games over there (Hong Kong) last year, in one of the malls, not a whole lot cheaper than here, Lady's Market may have more of a range now though as the the ones they had were cheaper.. PSP is multi region for games I think, so anything you buy should be fine.. :)

Some places in hong kong cost around 20 euroes for most games. Some places are rip offs and sell them for 40

Was in beijing last week and couldn't see one (seriously not one) console game on sale in the legit shops (didn't get to check the markets) so I'd say stock up in hong kong rather than expect to grab stuff on the mainland

not sure if it's an issue but I bought some non-euro games and the online play seems to restrict you to US and Oz lobbies only..I've asked on another thread if anyone knows if this is the case or can it be bypassed.

I wouldn't advise getting anything in a Mall in HK, pretty much the same price as Ireland.

Go to the "Golden Computer Market" in Sham Shui Po. Everything you could ever want is there (computer wise  ). Don't forget to haggle with them.

Sham Shui Po is pretty easy to find. The public transport in HK is excellent. Once you get to the SSP train station, take the "D" exit. Golden market is just there.

Still in Hong Kong, I picked up 8 PSP for the nephews at 20 euro each and a PS3 for 290 euro, PS3 games were hard to come by I got Tiger Woods and Tony Hawk for 40 euro each.
