surely i am confused. As goes against the very nature of the BGRH forum i have let a young girl catch my eye! We would now be considered to be "going out" and every occasion to date which has involved alchohol has seen me happily keep pace with her and her friends and see them all fall before me. Each time i have represented us well, and have always been the Last Man Standing.

Sadly, their inability to handle alchohol has affected their memory, and talks of challenges occured last night and promises were made to see me Taken Down to Wino Town, as they really seem to feel they were not that drunk the last time i defeated them!

This is due to happen at a family do on the ladies side. The question i have is, do i let them live on in hope and merely beat them by a small amount, or do i crush them early and have them hanging there heads and calling for taxi's before midnight?

My honour has been questioned, my integrity sullied like a barman aprons. Should i be the bigger man and let it slide, or make them remember me?

Brother Dragan, I am somewhat disturbed by your post. It displays an underlying insecurity in your drinking abilities merely by asking what you should do when deep down I believe you already knew the answer. For making them doubt yourself so, they must be crushed so early in the evening that they will never again issue challenges from which they have no hope of emerging victorious. Now go brother, and do your fellow brothers proud.

brothers I think I may be walking a different path to you but let me speak fully before you question my decision.

I am going to go with only beat them by a small amount, especially if this is the first time you have meet her family. Depending on whether she has brothers or a father who will want to defend her honour once she has been drunk under the table they may at that point challenge you to whether they can drink you under the table and so up hold their family honour. They there fore may have cheated and may not have drunk as much as you so cheatingly may beat you, which will tarnish your reputation and also they may think that maybe you are not man enough for her , if you are so easily beaten.

Surely you must crush them ... it is your destiny ... 'nuff said. However, I would advise caution ... control your wrath Brother, control your wrath.

If you were to carry your so called opposition, as a kindness, and then defeat them completely late on, you will achieve your primary goal while allowing them the mercy of putting up a good fight . Play the long game ...

Pace yerself Brother, let them keep up, gamely, while you utter wise statements like " jayziz ... i'm throwin' water into a barrel of sawdust here".

You see ... there are distinct goals here ... you want to crush them, they want to show themselves they can hang with the big dogs. Actually, both sets of goals can be realised.

Brother Dragan, the answer is clear. You must not only crush them, but absolutely destroy any credibility they have in drinking circles once you have done this. I recommend you drink them under the table, then (depending on how many of them are there) drink a shot for each of them while standing over their still twitching, vomit stained bodies!!
