This is a quick hi to everyone here from me! (I'm sure Ibid will be along soon)

I like the way this forum works at the moment, so don't expect big changes. From the other thread you know my opinion on the whole advice/opinion thing - basically no advice, but opinions are always welcome

If there are any changes that people would like to see, then please let us know and we'll consider them.

    Steve

Congrats to the two new mods - I would have put myself forward, but I was away for a week and missed the nominations :(

Just a quick point of clarification - are we allowed to discuss individual stocks in this forum? Or is that a neddy no-no?

I've no problem with stock names, as long as it's just for general discussion about their performance etc.

<investment-banker> Bow before me, underlings! </investment-banker>

In other words hello, I'll continue to read everything and add my piece when I have some boring econometrics information to add :).

Let's all be friends. Investment Bankers are often pricks, particularly to what they consider to be lesser-mortals. No advice, no being a prick (name-calling etc.). Criticism is fine, particularly if someone is about to blow their money, but let's all be friends.
