I had a look through but didn't see it. I didn't think you'd put someone's phone number up on the forum either tbh, for obvious reasons.

Guitar Repair in Dublin (Marlay Park)
Danvel Musical Instruments - Derrick Nelson
    01 4942741

TBH, his number is already online. Putting it on a forum makes next to no difference and might give him some business.

Given how people very often object to having their phone numbers online, that's something I'd be inclined to ask him first - irrespective of whether I thought it would generate business for him. I think the fact that someone else has already done it is aside from the point.

Someone PMed it to me already anyway, cheers.

It's his business number, his workshop in Marley Park, the same one he advertised in the Golden Pages. I'm pretty sure if he paid advertise it there, he won't mind it being advertised for free here, especially given the amount of business this site has sent his way.

Exactly. The whole idea of a business number is one you can give out to anyone, weirdos included.

I've met a few people who are funny about it. I'd ask to be on the safe side, personally. CYA is the name of the game, you should know that.

'Derrick Nelson Dublin Phone' turns up his phone number in the first Google result.

I doubt he has a problem with it.

    "Doubt", "pretty sure".

It'd cost about 10c to ring him and ask.

If he has a problem, he knows how to contact Boards. This thread is done.
