looks nice and clean. basic enough, not cluttered up...

What are you changing the gallery to? The only thing that really strikes me (apart from it being a neat little bit of flash) is that it's a shame it's a popup because otherwise it'd fit in nicely with the site and not look like it was 'tacked on', if you get my drift.

I think the muted colour was the right choice for the background, anything stronger would have any website visitors running for the hills or reaching for their sunglasses.

I'd do something graphics wise with the quotes on the music page. Something to make them stand out. Big so that they'll be instantly evident to anyone that even glances at the page (make them want to read them) but obviously not so big as to be garish.

    Thats about it I think....

I don't like the way "The Gallery" uses capital T and G, I'd stick with all lowercase. Also, the way the copyright warning text is center aligned and not left aligned.

Otherwise pretty neat job! Well done.

Its great. It really showcases your work, and the tone is friendly and professional. Spot on :)

I know you said you were changing it and its the one bit everyone's remarking on, but I'd agree with the gallery being embedded into a page rather than a pop up. The Flash is great, but I noticed I had to check to see if my mouse was still in the right place to navigate when I was going through it - the format of each picture changed the position of the up and down button. This distracted me a little, and my eye was off your work. Is that the style of your online or DVD wedding photo galleries? If not, could you use that section to show off the finished product? Or add a bit to do so? Not sure if that's a good idea - just off the top of my head.

The quotes, I'd use a Java random text generator to display them. There are loads of free scripts out there. Something subtle, gently fade in and out maybe...

I'd also maybe go with different wedding photos for the about us and wedding pages - it took me a few seconds to realise the new page had loaded. Then again it *is* half five in the morning

One teensy editorial note: on the weddings page your use of first person for the customer switches at the end; - When do you have to pay? (then) - When can we collect our photos?

That's all I can see at a quick glance. It looks lovely though, and the photos stand out without being too 'quirky' if you know what I mean - some sites seem to try to be a work of art and end up confusing everyone. IMHO of course :D

cheers everyone, the gallery will hopefully be embedded in the site at some point, can't do that yet as it only works in firefox, not in internet explorer if i do that

there's more stuff to go on the site and most of the points about the gallery i know already and hopefully will be able to change pretty soon

I really like the design, and also like that the gallery pops up...

But I dislike that shade of green in the background!!!

Nice gallery software. Would prefer it to be integrated into the main site. Curious as to why the initial Weddings / Music / etc. choice and the music sub directory uses small blank folder icons - large photos here might be more inviting and less Windows 3.1. Namewise, either aaaphotos or AAAPhotos might work better than AAAphotos. Love the pictures.

    Like the site ,very subtle.
I don't like the gallery ,music ,wedding ,about us ,hire us options .
They look all huddled together ,like one option
    Not much space between them:o

Hope it brings you more work.
