Moving down the country so going to have to change back account. With BOI and last statement had Qtrly fees of €53 so feck that...

    1. Current account with typically ~3 pages of a statement worth of traqnsactiopns per month
    2. Has an overdraft of €7k. Tyoically keep above €0
    3. One salary gets paid in every month ~€4k
    4. Offset mortage not a need (won't have much of one in a few moths all going well)
    5. NO FEES!
    6. Cheque bank, Laser, on line banking, phone banking and well supported with holes in the walls
    7. Interst would be nice

Like I replied in another thread (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=52955628&posted=1#post52955628), I'd have to recommend AIB. Have been a customer for years (also have been with BOI and TSB in the past). AIB have by far the best online services, most ATMs etc, most branches etc. Free banking (minor conditions which you will have no problem meeting) and paying 4% (11% promo) interest is pretty good...

Whatever bank you decide on, make sure you have all the correct documents for CJA (Passport/Driving Licence, recent Utility bills, statements from a previous bank etc). Ring ahead to enquire exactly what you need before arriving at the branch only to realise your missing something.

Good luck with your future banker!

53eur per quarter is a tad overkill. Are you relationship managed? Because you should be. To me you would be a business customer. There is definatly scope for a reduction in fees. Talk to your branch before you go moving because its very hard to give you a better deal if your branch is not aware of the charges you pay (Not aware in the sense that a computer decides the charges you pay).

Dont expect PTSB (although they have free banking) to be any better.
