    Hey y'all,

I like the look of this Linux MCE. I saw this video demo of it which makes it look amazing but I am unsure as to:
    1. What hardware I would need?
    2. How much would it cost me?
    3. Will it actually do all of those things in Ireland?

Let me know what ye guys think.

    Noel.

    Looks like pluto.

Im donwloading it now to try it. TBH when somthing is narrated by a geek as badly as that video, im pretty sure its nowhere near as Plug and Play as they say.

Specs wise, you can run MythTV on somthing as low spec as a PII450. However with the interface that is shown in the video, its going to be somewhat more than that. The fancy interface shown will need an Nvidia 6xxx card.

TBH im a big fan of MythTV and im using it right now, but Windows MCE is still pretty respectable.

What puts me off it the most is his lack of knowledge about Windows MCE. Nontheless, really like the interface of "Linux" MCE

From all i've heard the the mythtv irc channel LinuxMCE isn't anywhere near usable yet. It's a bit smoke and mirrors at worst or just not yet ready for release at best.

It's ubuntu, mythtv and plutohome alright.
