if you sell 50% at 3500 for 10% you'd have a very tasty 17500 to play with... thats +EV!!!

on a serious note, has it ever occured that someone would sell 150% of themselves itno say a 5k event, and then purposely go broke and make 2500? if not... should i do that!??

This has happened a number of times. The odd idiot even goes and finishes in the money having done as you suggest Jeff thereby losing money as they owed more then they won!

The above is one of the reasons why people like to know who they are investing in I guess. :rolleyes:

I remember reading on twoplustwo that Randy Jenson did it but no idea if they were being truthful or just taking the piss out of him.
