My dad is a mechanic and has a few bikes laying around. 1 of these is the old teezer reverse cylinder. there getting quite rare i believe.

anyways im only 20 twenty but ive been on crossers since i was a nipper and loved em during the summer holidays ( the joys of being a culchie:D ).

thinking of getting it restricted and insured, would it be around the same price as a 125 on a provisional? any estimates?

also anyone have an estimate as to how much a good clean 1(rebore, new pistons, rings, bearings etc. farings clean no scratchs and low mileage) should fetch?

as im kinda thinkin of giving the old man a few quid for it. €1500 a fair price?

Forget it, unless you are going to seriously restrict it, they are group 10 insurance!!!

Yep, those restrictor washers are made from very bad steel that desolves over time. ;)

my 89 RGV250K costs more to insure than my......05 Road King and my 02R1150RT. And I've got 20 yrs without a claim.

Good luck on getting a quote...........
