    And for the rest of us with some intelligence:

    so = So
    i = I
    cant = can't
    enuff = enough
    latly = lately
    it... = it?
    o = Oh,
    ya = yeah
    im = I'm
    dublin = Dublin
    travel.... = travel.

    Do you have something againest this guy from previous posts or are you just randomly deciding to rinse him without reason? :confused:

    Surely 'ya' and 'yeah' are both slang from the word 'yes' so I don't see how that computes.

    I've never had iced tea, not being a tea fan, but is it not just cold tea?

    Is it fizzy?

    it's cold tea, sometimes with a flavour of lemon or something else in it.. it's lovely, but it doesn't hold a candle to iced coffee....

    gods I love iced coffee... if only I could find a decaf version

    I'll think you'll find that there is nothing wrong in the slightest with starting a sentence with the word "and".

    No, no. I've had my fill of tolerance today, it just seemed the right time to let rip. Don't worry, the photography forum got it first.
    Sorry, anto-t. By the way, it looks like it's your caps lock key that is broken, not your spacebar.

    They used to sell them in cans in either Aldi or Lidl(can't remember which), but the next time I went they were gone and when I asked the man if they'd ever be back he said he didn't know.......sob.....

    lol, to be honest, giving random people a hard time on boards is half the fun, but I tend not too if it's a new thread and I'm the first to post and the poster hasn't said anything controversial or that I disagree with, such as 'i like icetea' :p

    Some poeple use road rage, some people use drugs, some people use violence. I use the internet.

    In a strangely on topic post in this thread I'm going to say that the reason that ice tea is not widely available in Ireland is because the Irish public find it distinctly rotten. It's basically black tea with ice and sugar. Horrible tea should be served hot, with milk, in a china cup accompanied by some biccies. And that's the way I likes it.

    This is the work of a hateful person. I actually know sinecurea and can state that his spelling is not always spot on. He cannot spell "zephyr".

    I would also like to corroborate the point made above that using the word "and" to commence a sentence is grammatically unsound.

    Disagree. I was on an essay-writing course, and the lecturer, who had an MA in English, said it was quite OK.

    To back this up, I just opened the English language master himself, Churchill, "If I Lived my Life Again", on a random page (170) and found a sentence beginning with 'and'. If it's good enough for Churchill it's good enough for anyone.

    Let's forget about the iced tea and have a nice discussion about conjunction-itis.

    OP: go 2 liddel r aldy n gt ur ice t der.

    My apologies for the reference to the dyslexic-related spelling errors. The others, no excuse.
    Jigsaw, you clearly misunderstood my original post, so belt up.
    nesf, understood.

    They're selling it in O'Brien Sandwich and I've seen it in a couple of Super Values.

    I love it too which is wierd considering I hate normal hot tea :confused:

    If you're asking where to get something in Dublin you should really ask in the Dub forum.
    Over here we get the 500 bottles. Try Tesco or google.

    I love it myself, but I think you can only get the non-carbonated version of it in Ireland? Nothin like a glass full of ice of the ol carbonated Nestea or Lipton Iced Tea and a roasting hot day to quench the thirst.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,016 ✭✭✭Blush_01

    They had lovely ones in Lidl a while ago, but I drank so much that I went off them. Peach. Now I want some iced tea. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,893 ✭✭✭The_B_Man

    Man, that Liptonice was muck! first time i ever tasted it was at Landsdownw road for, i think, Ireland v Czech rep. They were handing them out for free so we grabbed a few cans. Wretched yokes. I think they were also doing a deal on them while i was in secondary school. Buy a can of Liptonice and get a Mars bar free, or some other bar. but the bar cost more than they wer sellin Liptonice for so we jsut boguht the cans, threw them away and kept the bar.

    Ice Tea != Nice.
    Tea != Nice, also.

    Also, why did they name teabags after a testicular action upon ones drunken face? :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,016 ✭✭✭Blush_01

    Do you really think teabagging came before the humble teabag (that you make actual tea with)?

    On the subject of failed drinks, who remembers Tab Clear (suddenly everything becomes clear!) marketed as clear Coke for 23p a can back in the early 90's? I loved it, though maybe I was just fooling myself to be cool.
