    hey lads..

i upgraded my power supply about 6 months ago....last month i upgraded to a core2duo processor, and compatible board, and i see it needs an 8 PIN CPU plug. my "new" power supply only has a 4 PIN CPU plug, which I've plugged in and it works.

Question is: whats the story here, is my processor getting enough power, is it being limited in some way??

    thanks

those extra 4 pins are just for stability purposes, you won't get as good an overclock without utilizing the full 8 pin connector, for normal volts and use you will be fine though.

The 8pin is more directed at dual core CPU's.
