Found this on eBay, too good to be true? I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it, it's true there are no credit details, and i'll use my temporary uni address so that junk mail is avoided.

What do you think? Probably a scam but it won't hurt to give it a shot.

    *************

This is not a sale of a Nintendo DS - I’m just giving information on how to get one free!

This is really simple ! If you think its a scam then check the link to the BBC website at the bottom. This is a genuine marketing strategy by very large household companies such as Royal Mail, Lovefilm.com, Gala Bingo etc. I am very sceptical about these things and have checked out the sites and the marketing. My partner is a marketing professional and she knows this is a new and genuine trial.

Follow these steps to get yourself a free Nintendo DS, for just a little bit of time and effort. You even get some free stuff from the companies you sign up with, and they are all on a no commitment basis. 100% legitimate!!!

STEP 1: Follow this link (click or copy and paste):

    http://ForFree4U.com/index.php

STEP 2: Register, this costs nothing and you don’t even have to go on after this if you don’t want to. You do not give any financial information out, only with the companies you sign up with.

STEP 3: Now you get a number of offers from different companies. You need to choose one of the offers and complete the criteria. For example, Bingo Liner, you get £5 free when you start to play with, and any deposit you make the games doubles it for you. and you can win money. it's really good fun! Or sign up for Royal Mail print-your-own postage or even free DVD rental. And you can even subscribe to the Which? consumer magazine, and report to them how it has worked for you.

STEP 4: Refer people to do the same, you only need 8 people to do as you did and the ipod is yours. Or choose a different item- xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and more.

If you’re thinking that this must be a scam then BBC Newsnight made a program based on these offers and it explains exactly how these companies make their money and how they can afford to give away these items, If in doubt just try the FREE OFFERS and this will NOT cost you a penny! Here is the program from the BBC (You will need real player)

NOTE: This is not an auction for a Nintendo DS, just information on how to get one free. Please do not bid.
