    Anyone know where i can get a copy of "When i grow up" by Brian o Rourke. I have tried and tried and failed.

    I feel your pain - I was looking for the same for ages. The only way to get it is a music shop in galway. Its on the top of shop street, can't remember the name, sorry. But you'll get it in there alright.

    I bought the tape from himself years ago when he was performing in a pub in Ennis. It's been mangled to death by my stereo and I'd love to get a fresh copy.

    anyone know if he is still recording/playing? last I heard from him was that he had a few more songs and was planning on making an new tape/cd but that is about 3 yrs ago now.

    Did that CD ever get off the ground? I'd definately buy it if it ever gets produced. Thats been in the pipeline an awful long time though.

    Ah the Ballad of Drumsnot. I remember hearing that on a tape. Its definately one of the funniest songs I've ever heard.

    His wife is Paula Carroll on Clare FM every Wednesday night trad programme. You can email her there, just check the website. I spoke to them both on Sunday in Feakle.

    That is brilliant news :-) can you tell me what his email address is? He once send me a copy of his book, which I found strange and hard to get into.. but absolutely brilliant!!!!
    I wonder if he knows that a following he has?
